i think a curved front armour would be better.

Great work :)

I like the gun where it is rather than the underslung idea personally.

Dorsal mount would seem to offer a wider arc of fire...

I'll try that out too and post the results.

I like the idea of the underslung gunmount
I also really like the idea of the front hood being extended much further, like in the concept pic a while back

Like the curved prow, although the space for the troops to exit looks restricted/dangerous (assuming they jump through the spiky gap). Not sure I like the holes in the sails, unless they have a practical use. Would like to see vanes like dragon' wings. As for the main gun, it does look good where it is, but again may be impractical (blue on blue incidents). Can we see a few pics from different angles to see how the sails attach to the hull?

Really need to do something with the gun, at the moment the guy only needs to depress the mount a degree or two in order to blast the front of the vehicle to shreds. Either the gunner needs to be higher or the gun needs to be repositioned elsewhere.

Like the curved front section.

Could the side control vanes maybe be a little smaller, and what would they look like upside down, spun 180 degrees.

It'll cast easier without the holes too.

;D

I like that people think of these things! It had me thinking if the chap on the gun went postal he could butcher his buddies in seconds!

And Sims is right, that barge is a health and safety nightmare which frankly breaches all sorts of working condition requirements!

Anyway, slightly more seriously... What about some sort of gun turret underneath with the current gunner operating some sort of controls to pilot the vessel & fire the turret?

I also like moredakka's suggestion about flipping the control vanes upside down.

Great job Deacon: the curves front world be a excellent idea too.
And what about putting the gun on the front, too? At the rear, you have too many things: gun and sails...
And what about putting little sails on the side at the front, and getting the back ones smaller?

But, again, it´s a great job!

On a slightly different topic, I've just been re reading this thread from post one, I joined about page 150 and wanted to catch up. It's been great to see the design processes, company growth and general participation of the forum members. I also noticed that the companies anniversary 21 February is coming up, have you any special plans Dom? (Special mini, launch)

Out of fun could you put a fork and spoon in the passenger's hands please :D

I'm thinking the space under the prow is missing something? maybe you could put a blady pointy thing there, like a cable cutter on military helicopters.
