Same here - all good with at least a 1 week break in between :)

I'm just rather hoping i get a decent night's sleep tonight - the sleep deprivation is currently biting hard!

can one of you guys collect some space marine scouts from elsmore and ferry them to FSA? I know 12 6mm figures are heavy-as-balls but you'd be doing me a solid....

Is anyone running a Gargant Bigmob list take from the Mechanicus supplement?

If so, I would appreciate it if anyone who either plays with, or against, the Ork Gargant list to post their thoughts on the list in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=26718

What worked well?
What didn't?
What was overpowered?
What was underpowered?
etc
etc

Cheers
Reedar

In case anyone's keeping an eye on the forum, I'm running about twenty minutes late. :(

Thanks everyone, that was generally fun apart from being utterly trounced by Ben in the first round...

Tom Corey 3 0 14 22 24 63
Cai Gratze 0 3 29 0 24 56

1st, 2nd and 3rd place go to: Andy Jenkinson fielding a massive formation of aspects mounted in falcons alongside a Warlock Titan (!), Ben - Laser Eye's - Edgar with his now veteran Chaos Marine force, and 3rd place to Jon Mielcarek proving that he doesn't need one million Fighta Bomma's to be a contender; just an Imperator! Each wins £15, £10, and £5 in Troublemaker Games Credit :-)

This years winter warmer saw:

2 Albert Orkstien
4 Biel Tan
1 Black Legion
1 Codex Marines
1 Death Guard
1 EuK Nids
1 EuK Titans
2 Ghazkull
1 Krieg
1 Sarranes Expanse
3 Steel Legion

and

2War Griffons

lists in total; a pretty varied line up!

This year the players voted on their TWO favourite armies awarding Reedar's very yellow orks and Elsmore's Eldar Exodites a well deserved prize of an Onslaught Miniatures Army Deal each; Wow! Additionally Nick was also voted ONE of the nicest people at the tournament AND it was his birhtday before the 5 other nominees so EpicUK are glad to give him an early birthday present of a free ticket one of their one day events this year; well done Nick!

BWW's 'special' prize for least min/max'd army was awarded to Callum Harris who showed up with only 1 Thunderhawk in a Codex Marines list; we've never seen so many Rhino's!

Wooden Spoon goes to Cai Gratz who only ended up there after fielding an unpainted tank company! Commiserations and better luck next time; get painting dude!

Finally then another big thankyou to all those who attended and helped make the day what it was: I for one would like to thank Stu and Richard for 2 great games (one of mine was a 'buy' game due to latecomers) and an additional thanks to Stu for helping to improve all of our scenery in a timely fashion. It was also GREAT to see so many new faces from near and afar; I hope to see many of you at other Epic events throughout the year!

Pictures up next and see you all in a year!
Yours,
RYan
