I'll post pictures once they are painted as well... but for anyone who is interested here are the the unpainted versions, with a fighta bomba for scale comparison.

Each landa is made from: 1 Stompa, 1 e40k battlewagon (upside down minus tracks on the bottom of the landa), 6 rocket packs from an e40k thunderbolt pack, 2 battlewagon claws (1 minus pinchers as a tail and 1 clawed tooth version on either side as the lower jaw), 2 e40k big guns, an e40k imperial tank spike, plasti-card, and assorted random bits... the nose and some of the lumpy bits are from a Denizen Miniatures 20mm scale jetbike, but any old bit of detritus from my bits box could have been used instead I'm sure.
It will show up better when painted, but the look i was after is the typical animal look that ork BFG ships have, with eyes and a big jaw... I've tried to make it so it looks like the lower jaw can drop down as an unloading ramp.
Now I've just got to paint them and 100 orks to go inside them, and convert 8 battlefortresses by Sunday!!
