All this Blood Angel talk over on the BA thread has made me excited to complete my BA army.

I've got a bunch of those old plastic Contemptor style dreadnoughts. Any ideas on converting them over to Furioso Dreads? Obviously I would cut off the assault cannon, but then what to use for the additional power fist?

I have limited Epic models to hand, but tons of 40k bits for conversion purposes. Or maybe plasticard?

If you have a bunch of those contempters, you could sacrifice the fists of one group to double up on the other. The fists themselves aren't left-right specific.

It worked ok for my Lamenters:

Beautiful army, and I love those dreadnoughts.

That's a good call, and I considered that. Unfortunately, by "bunch", I actually meant like 8 or so. I am reluctant to mutilate rare plastic Epic models much, but I may just do it. It's certainly the most direct way to do it. If anyone has other ideas, though, I'd love to hear them.

If you could get your hands on one of the metal dreadnought clawed fist arms, you could duplicate as many as you need with Instamold. I'm sure you could attach these easily, or just swap fists.

Well you'd still have 8 dreds. Just 4 of them would be Furioso and others Mortis
