Allergic to nuts here too. Since I'm stealing maddoctors ticket (pm me and I'll make sure you get your monies back), I haven't really been paying attention: are people bringing sensible lists or all out silly? Russ not included I know what he's likely to bring ;)

Jon - it's almost like you know me >.<

To be fair though, this is the last time I'll be using 'what I have been using in the past' at a tournie. I just haven't had time recently to paint up a real army. Next year will be 'Cron year! :D

Hmm, my six and a half activation*/725pt BTS idea isn't sounding so silly now. :)

*The half being the Plague Zombie Infestation...

For those that I haven't had contact details via PM or Email for:

"Dear Winter Warmer Attendees,

Many thanks in advance for everyone's entry; with 20 of us on board , an excellent quality venue and the scenery set to be better than ever this year event is shaping up to be a good one. Before you pack your cases ready for the big day please find some vital information that you'll need for a happy day's gaming.

Firstly a reminder of the address:

188 Hotwells Road, Bristol, BS8 4RP. Google Map here. There's a reasonably priced car park across the road. Finding a suitable place to park is up to you!

Attendees need to arrive for 9am sharp whilst we register everyone.

Secondly a reminder that as usual and with their kind permission we'll be using Epic UK's 3 Game Event Rules to run the tournament; here you can find details of event scoring and setup. The file can be downloaded from http://epic-uk.co.uk/wp/rules/ Additionally please note that the links provided from the Epic Uk 'Rules' section of the website is the version that any rules queries will be bases upon in the event disagreements between players (never happened as far as I can recall!)

Next up: Army lists: we're purposefully very lax on the requirement for players to submit lists before an event because we believe that you can all be trusted and any honest mistakes will be spotted by your opponents! We reccomend printing out two copies of your army list and would like to further suggest the excellent 'Traitor Legion to create these.

There's been a few questions about what to bring to the tournament. In brief everything apart from scenery that you need to play a game. Rulebook, Tape measure, dice, Blast Markers and templates in addition to your army would be the basics! We would also suggest bringing a PRINTED reference sheet (as opposed to electronic) for both your and your opponents ease of use.

Finally we need people to provide us with their lunch option if you have not done so already via the Event thread found HERE. We need to know which of the following awesomely tasty wraps you'd like: Falafel, Bean and Cheese, Houmous and Salad or Roasted Med Veg.
Please make your selction known by posting on the event thread or emailing me back (No PM's!)
There'll also be a cake with lunch and you all need to remember to bring £6 to pay for lunch on the day; this is not optional! We'll also be providing tea and coffee throughout the day along with addiitonal cakes for purchase at £2.50 a pop; bottled beers and ciders for £3 will also be making a showing :-).

Any last minute announcements will be made on the event thread; I'd like to finally thank all of you for helping to once again make the Winter Warmer a reality and look forwards to seeing you all for this, our 4th year running :-).

May your dice roll high!
Yours,
Ryan, Stew, Ben and the rest of the BWW crew."

Pretty certain I'm allergic to vegan food... :( Jokes aside, I'll have a falafel, please. :D

You know, I thought I had a silly list until I spoke to Jon. Pretty sure 7 activations is a new record low for me, though. Might have to get in on the silly Titan action for next year, and try and beat 4 activations... :P

Tank company - 800
8 Leman Russ, 1 Vanquisher, 1 Executioner, Supreme Commander, Hydra

Tank Company - 650

7 Leman Russ, 3 Demolishers

Shadowsword - 200
