They were gone for a few minutes. Your website was down briefly, too, although it is back now.

For everyone writing about last minute orders using the "SANTA" discount - I have extended it out for a few more hours! :)

Work continues - got the little tick-like arms in there, trying not to clutter it up at this point - thoughts?

And here's what a squad might look like mounted on 20x20mm bases:

Wow!

I'd remove the helmet on the fella but extend the carapace,
So he looks inserted. I'd also loose the skirts of
The humanoid in this configuration for clarity

Looking forward to these...

Looking good/bad, will you vary the pose of the tentacles?

Outstanding, those little arms and the other added details really make this model. I'd get me some of these as they are now.

Oh, i like the fact they have different weapons too.

Amazing! I would perhaps remove the topmost pair of little arms, to make the "host" a little more visible at the small scale, but they are awesome either way!

Thanks!

I think what I might do is have the three tentacles shooting straight out, and then the modeler can bend them however they wish...

I think you're right Armand. I'll loose the top two smaller arms so you can see the host better, and put the victims arms back up so you can see them better - they're getting lost at scale.

Lawhawk - I can't extend the carapace out anymore due to casting concerns - that's about as far as I can sink the head in.

Could you maybe make the restraining arms more like bony insectoid fingers? That is, do them as fine detail on the model's torso? They are pretty big.

But overall I'm loving where you are going with this. Good idea about making the tentacles straight and letting us bend them as we wish-- certainly I'm going to have one grasping a 6mm model. :)

I think you've got it! They are far much dark and disturbing in this way...

I'm really waiting for the phantom guard, with all the work you've done on the rest of the army.... :P ;D

Yup - Phantom Guard are next, and then it's onto the 2 vehicles.
