Both of these look great, the red does really help to make them stand out. Any plans to add the red to the remainder of the army?

Got a tournament coming up that has got me motivated to paint. Here comes another finished formation. It's a group of three Riptides with three missile drones for extra suppression resistance. In the middle is Shas'O Borka in his bright new battlesuit. They are for playing in the Vior'la developmental list that I plan to use at the event.

Thanks everyone! They were quite nice to paint. Not the prettiest models perhaps. They are a bit bulky for Tau. The GW Riptide is more slender, but after looking at Matts battlereport I thought they looked ok. They're one-piece so I had to saw of the arms and legs to reposition them somewhat.

Indeed they are. Quite nicely detailed, as well.

Yes indeed :)
They are called Velite. Quite cheap, you get four for just 6.50£.
cheers

Oh yeah that has been forgotten. Sorry about that Manus.

I have order all the parts I needed and I will try to make a tutorial in the coming weeks. I'm going to a tournament the 18th and is spending all available hobby time painting Tau stuff. So I'm affraid I can't promise to do it before the 18th.

Sorry Mr Gonzo I missed your question, they are 20mm to the top (not counting the weapon pointing up).
