Great! We're nearly full! 16 tickets out of 20 available; 4 left on a first come first served basis. I hope to have at least 2 new bristol players in attendance.

Prizes will start to be amassed now and in the next few weeks we'll start getting some pictures up of all the cool scenery that we'll be renovating for your pleasure :-)

Just a quick note also that people need to remember to bring £6 to cover the cost of lunch on the day; I'll get a 'menu' up shortly. There'll also be additional cakes to buy too and we shall make certain that hot drinks are available. So long as there's no problems the ticketed honesty bar will be open for £3 a pop this year; quality bottled ales and ciders provided by the bike cafe.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So, what armies are everyone thinking of bringing? I'd like to bring a Vraksian force if I can get things painted in time and my wave 1 TMG plastics arrive on time; if not then it'll almost certainly be Krieg...all those Gorgons!

So...here's some exciting news:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Bristol Winter Warmer Bestest Looking Armies now SPONSORED BY ONSLAUGHT MINI'S!

That's right kid's TC's own Deacon and Onslaught Miniatures are giving away an army deal or tank regiment of your choice to the two armies voted 'bestest looking' by judges and players respectively on the day whilst Winter Warmer will cover the cost of postage for you! So, get those painting brushes out sharp like and make those 6mm armies look as stonkingly good as you can as that's roughly £60 of free miniatures waiting to be won by two very lucky people right there!

Take a good look at http://www.onslaughtmini.com/8-army-deals to see what's what and bear in mind that other releases are yet to be announced!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd are all being worked on along with all the usuals! More news next time Bat Fans!

Well this gets more exciting by the day! :)

I'll be bringing Biel Tan dinos - still the only fully painted army I own. In fact, the painted units aren't optimal, so I have a choice between taking a painted sub optimal army and definitely taking the wooden spoon, or taking a few unpainted formations and giving myself a slim chance of avoiding the spoon. ;)

Ideally I'll get to paint a few bits up, but time is tight!

Cheers

New Rule: Elsmore isn't allowed to bring ANY of his top notch painted stuff! No one else will stand a chance ;)!

Oh...Hai! Me again; more prizes just confirmed; this time in the shape of tasty store credit from our very own Evil and Chaos over at Troublemaker Games who've been brilliant enough to donate a good sum of the cost of the prizes thus enabling us to spend even more on making the event rock (read, making sure the scenery is fixed in time and that there's enough of it!).

As such 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be £15, £10 and £5 worth of TMG store credit on top of a few other little suprises we've hope to have up our sleeves for those coveted positions! So get along to http://www.troublemakergames.co.uk to see the sort of things you could be putting your hard won £TMG's towards and remember that models from Ben's first and second crowdfunders will also be hitting the the webstore before and after the event; plenty to choose from!

We've also got high hopes that a regular source will furnish us with a suitable 'Most Sporting' prize shortly and in the meantime we've sourced a hard to come by miniature for the player seen to be taking the most sub optimal army out there; although not much of a hint it's not a miniature that you'd be able to use in any tournament apart from ours at this moment...if at all as I don't even know if it features in any lists currently in development!

Fun Fun!
