Here's another one of the pieces I've had sitting around that I never got around to finishing until now.

Diameter 40mm, Height 25mm

And here's a quick 15min ruin using a few spare building tiles that I had lying around.

That looks pretty dang good mate!

What have you used for texture on the base?

Hi Reedar, cheers mate. The base is a mixture of filler, pva, kiln dried sand and water, mixed together to form a weak paste and allowed to set a little, add another small amount of pva glue and apply to base with an old brush. Once it starts to set, it turns back to a smooth texture. At this point take your brush, dampen, and stipple again. Then allow to set. The pva keeps the base flexible so allows it to flex a little for durability for gaming. Hope this helps.

Like these. More refinery/industrial terrain would be very useful.

Cheers for the info - it sounds like one of those things that's complicated the first time you do it, but easy once you've got the hang of it...?!

Hi Reedar, no worries. Its quite easy, just explanation is long winded. Just remember that once it starts to dry and looses texture, don't worry, just stipple again the texture you want :)

Mattman and Bissler,

The latest in the Defence Fortification range.........Fortified Emplacement.

It can also be used as a base for the Missile Silo and Fuel Silo.

That combo with the missile would make for a great deathstrike silo
