Only problem with Pendraken is that they suffer from the 'we don't need pictures of our products' syndrome… -.-

Irregular are a nightmare for that, but at least they have images of customers models on their site, so you get some idea what some things are like..

Ja, they are not that great either.
A club mate ordered some tests from various ranges, one of them being the hydra.
Can't believe how good it actually looks without the awful paintjob they show on their website, hehe

Congrats on the competition!

Thanks for the shots of your current minis, the lumber and crew look brilliant.

Pendraken have a great forum community, if there is something on the site that you want to see before you buy, there is usually someone on on there that will post up pictures for you, though a many of them are already on there in army threads, Bit more leg work to find them, but they are a super friendly company- Leon is an excellent guy, and he will often be on the forum helping people out with their needs. They are working on getting more shots of their stock on the catalog, but it is a hefty job as they have a large catalog, and they often need to cast up what they need to photograph!

I have been most impressed with irregular, so much I'm placing a 2nd order in already for the stuff I haven't seen any photos off! The ratmen are some of the best 6mm stuff I have ever had, and yeah the hydra is one of fav minis, I have painted one up already and he looks awesome- even by my sub standard painting!

The ratmen are just so good- I only thing they really missing is some decent leaders- their champions are a bit more like skinny dwarves- but they are so well made that I am working on converting some standard infantry into warlocks and engineers for champions.

I've got to admit I was lucky with both the Irregular and Pendraken stuff I managed to go to shows where they were there this always makes it far easier to pick stuff up especially impulse buy sort of stuff. I'm luddite enough that I far prefer proferring my cash to people and buying in real life.

More artillery.
Nelly's Wrath. Named after the Publican of a pub near the garrison in New Haven.

I've also got some nice army shots for people to look at.

Both of these come to 2000pts in After the Cataclysm.

Thanks Kid Terminal here are my Aureolus or Greater Air Elementals they are just Kallistra Fire Elementals painted in an air scheme currently I'm planning on using Toy Dinosaurs as Salamanders for my Fire Elementals.

Also got a game of After the Cataclysm in. My opponent enjoyed it and has asked for another game on Thursday with larger forces.

Yep it was actually mainly the difficulty of finding another form of Air Elemental and the fact I had a bunch of Dinosaurs left over from my Squiggoths.

Tell me about it. Finding a Neolithic Polished Stone Axe in a 19th century barn was one of the most fun examples of that in my life. I was working on an Archaeological dig up in Oban and it was satisfying I'd always wanted to find one and there it was. Somebody had obviously picked it up about 3 or 4 millennia after it was made and taken it back to the farm. Originally it had probably come over the sea from Ulster.
