Hi all,

Quick question on how to base battlesuits. Would I be right in thinking that battlesuits are based individually? I.E. Shas’o Commander (Shas’o Battlesuit & 3 Shas’vre Battlesuits) = 1 commander mini on a base and 3 individual Shas'vres on bases (4 bases, 4 minis)? I'm considering using coins to base them on.

And while I remember, another quick noob question - is NetEpic Gold, NetEpic 5.0 but better presented?

Thanks.

Basing 2-3 per base is from Grandma Wendey´s making-money-marketing team.
After they introduce the long bases 40x12mm they want you to put 2 walkers 3 bikes ect. per base while raising the prices to the double amount.
Nice trick GW/FW but I will keep my squared bases where ONE Battlesuit looks perfect per base and 2 bikes even more.

Go and base oneper base, imagiene the extra costs for doing 2 or even 3.

I would go one per base, if I had spare I might be tempted to double up.

I believe there were slight changes between 5.0 and gold, but nothing that would significantly effect rules or gameplay. I am sure Primarch can fill you in with the details.

Glad to hear it's not just me with those sentiments, I was wondering if I was being influenced by my Yorkshire heritage. I have to admit I do similar things with my space marines, 2 assault/missile marines with 3 regular to represent assault/heavy squads. I think the assault squad bases look crowded with 5 on, and after all these things ain't cheap or easy to find these days.

Anyway, 1 battlesuit per penny and commander Farsight can regale a 2p piece. Thanks for the help guys and over to the Primarch for any additional info on the rules.

I usually mount 2 bikes/cavalry, 1 dreadnought, 1 speeder per base.
My infantry is set out how a unit would look like in 40k fluff.
Tactical stands - 1 stand has a captain model (the one with a power fist) and 4 normal marines, the other stand has a heavy weapons and 4 normal marines.
Devastator stands - 1 stand has a captain, 2 heavies, 2 normal, the other has 2 heavies and 3 normal.
Assault - 1 stand has a converted model to act as the sergeant (usually chop a power fist off a captain or terminator to add to the assault marine) and 4 assault marines and the other has 5 assault marines.
