Cool stuff, but any reason for the extra sprue rather than just separate objects?

Frosted ultra detail has a $5 surcharge per piece. Each carriage individually costs $7.50, so a pack of three saves you $10 in handling fees. If you wish, I could upload a single carriage.

I was just curious. I guess shapeways has changed policy then. Previously you could upload a single mesh with multiple copies of an object in it and it didn't count as separate objects for the surcharge.

Exactly, that how it normally works right? When did they change that?

Hey! It works! That's neat.

Edit - so, I removed the sprue from the carriages. I still think it's a good idea for the guns.

And these are my science fiction Panzer IV turrets. Any opinions on if they're fair game?

I guess I could put a counterweight / ammo box thing on the back there to make them more Panzer-y.

These are corollaries to some "forbidden" Hellhound And Manticore work that I recently completed. As per the Cybershadow pact, I won't show those designs until printed and painted. Perfectly legal to make my own 6mm copy, says the lawyer.

Great looking turrets T !!! Yeah, put a storage box on the rear, like many of the WWII German AFVs ...

Yup stowage

What's the gun in the middle?

Left to right you've got dakka, bbq, ???, neutron fryer, and a booma gun.

I was thinking "Those would look much better on an APC than on a tank..." and then I scrolled down to this post and realized that was your intention. They look appropriate. Are you doing gigantic fuel tanks to go with the creme brulee torch turret?

EDIT: oh, and I'm voting for stowage as well - it adds a little visual balance.

Bug sprayer.

I'll print a few variants, see what paints better.

I liked them before adding stowage. I like them even more now.
