These are growing on me but i'd like to see a version with the original rifles as i think these guns look to bulky for infantry squad weapons. Squad medium support weapon maybe.

Oh a rear view of any one of these would not go amiss if possible.

Wave five should be available via the exodus wars right around the same time as the Onslaught Store. As for when that will be - I'd say around the end of November.

I seem to recall reading that the OTC tanks would come with both options for 2ndary side weapons, is that still the case?

Stygians are looking great man.

Thanks Primarch - BTW I forgot to include the Tzacol warriors in there with the Wave 7 list ;) They will be included right at the tail end.

Hi!

Thanks okay Deacon. I rather like them being on the tail end, since that way you can dedicate more time to them.

That and buying them doesn't interfere with my other "primarch-plans". ;D

Stygian regulation battle thongs.

They need a heavy weapon mixed in, assuming you're not doing a separate pack. You know, one for every stand that looks like it has 1/3 of a chance of removing an opposing infantry squad around 300 scale meters. :)

Hi,

Really great looking minis! But I think they would look even better With a more sleak looking weapon. The upper part of the gun seems a little like flash... I would really like to see what they look like without that bit.

I'm looking forward to this wave as I have some titans that are in dire need of a raiding force :)

Check it out guys - Gargoyle WIP. The armor falls somewhere between the hunter and slayer. There will also be male and female models.

I think with this one especially, we need to see a back view as well.

There's nothing worth showing just yet - still flushing out the jump pack, but I'll get it up once its a little more refined.

One thing to note - those wings are mechanical and used for steering the user in flight.

For anyone interested, here's some more views of the hunter:

On the gargoyle wings, the...palm, I guess, is too circular I think. That may just be because you haven't finished it yet though.

These are seriously looking great.

I'm thinking the armor and gun, and especially the boots, look a little heavy for a jump trooper. Surely there's SOME weight sacrifice to be made! Plus lighter armor gives the impression of greater speed and agility. And they also look a lot like the foot troopers.

One idea you might want to try. With jump troops one challenge is breaking/twisting delicate little elfy ankles on landing. Have you considered giving them something like high-tech power risers? (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_PJHIv1bZE ) With super-tech materials and wider footpads, they solve the problem of a rough landing. They might even be retractable, folding up against the calves so the user can walk normally.

I'm envisioning something like greaves, except the back of the calf has what looks like a digitigrade leg coming down from it. You could have one model with then folded and others with them extended or in the midst of bouncing. Either way, such a light foot gives more of an impression of lightness than a conventional boot.

Just throwing ideas out there.

All good ideas - but the real reason for a chunkier boot are the restrictions of casting. I simply cant have any part of the miniature be less than 1mm if at all possible, especially where it connects to the base.
