That looks infinitely usable for some of the stuff we're talking about for epic Slann War Engines (big floaty pyramids covered in runes/glyphs) nice one!

Well, that's a great Idea! For the moment it has no underside (being empty inside), but I could definitely model up a base for it, with a slot for a flying peg, and some cool "mechanical stalactites" (ok my vocabulary is straining here....)

OHHHHH PERTY.

Also works great in BFG / Firestorm Armada / [insert fav space game] as well as a space station!

You're right! I didn't think about it! Tomorrow I'll try to hollow the stalagmites, and put in on the store...

Although, to use it as a space station, i'd add a few antennas protruding from the four corners!

On a completely unrelated note: does anybody know the approximate dimensions of an epic Capitol Imperialis?

I'll be home in about an hour and I'll give it a measure for you.
There's also a fan-made "truescale" beast that I can measure for you as well if you're thinking of making something like that! >:D

That would be just perfect, thank you!

(by the way, if you can send me a message with some pics of the true-scale one, I would be definitely grateful!)

By the way, do you have some sort of close up of the Demiurg ships'/pyramid's surface, very curious about the blocky structures on there. :)

Hey everyone!

It’s been a long time! I apologize for my absence, but it has been a somewhat complicated period…
Anyway, everything is fine now (starting a new job in January, yay!), so let’s get this thing back on track!

First of all, my apologies to Malika, it took me a while to post a pic of the pyramid detail… Here it is!

Now, I haven’t been completely idle in this time, so I’ll share some pictures of what I did:

I tried my hand at sculpting something at a 6mm(ish) scale; a four legged walker, roughly one inch wide and one inch deep (from leg tip to leg tip), and 14mm tall. Not really usable as a count as for anything I’m afraid, just something I wanted to try! :)

I made both an anti-air and a heavy beam cannon version; I hope you like them!

And now something that I made at the suggestion of a gentleman customer, a stand in for a frigate class that I didn’t know of before, a Shrike frigate!
It’s a larger “chaosy” gun batteries frigate, 47mm long, 18mm tall and 19mm wide (antennas included).

Hope you guys like these! In the weekend I’ll try to share some pics of more stuff I made! (You could see it on my shapeways page, but where would be the fun in that?)

Thanks! It’s good to be back! I see you’ve been busy, too! Love your orky turrets :D

Next are a couple of pics of some rogue trader frigates I made (once again, at the suggestion of the aforementioned gentleman); they are meant to be similar to GW’s rogue trader armed cargo, and they come in the “transport” version, with a front turret and side cargo pods, and in the “gunship” version, with front turret and side gun batteries.

Thanks man! I need to tweak the turrets a bit to make them more 'standard' so that people can alter them themselves. Maybe that will make them more wanted...
