Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the old soviet theme. I think it works well for AdMech, gives it a bit more "realistic" field color but keeps the red accents to tie it back to the AdMech. I'll probably throw it into epicomp just to have something in there. same goes for the robots and rapiers.

@legion: yeah I really like the mk1. the detail is fantastic for the scale and they still look awesome on the table. Almost like the new FW rapier scaled down :)

Have no fear they are being sent back to Otter for proper disposal. :)

Returning to Blood Ravens, I finished up the last of the Terminators today. These guys were quite a challenge and took much more time than termies I've painted in the past due to the assembly needed and added detail. I'll be moving back to some FW thunderhawks and then back to the titan that's been on hold for a good bit to get it done for EpiComp this year.

Awesome work!

These guys really pop! Along with the rapiers the colours are so rich they look like they're glowing

Hey, thanks guys! I would like to suggest that a pin system be added at some point to aid gluing tiny little arms in place. Makes it easier to position and for the glue to hold while curing.

@Elsmore I did use a wash of delvan mud or equivalent after the initial coat of dark flesh. It quickly shades and I can build up from there. These guys have simple drybrush blood red highlights followed by solid white. Depending on the consistency of the paint they got a glaze of blood red to tone the highlight and blend it back.

They are indeed no longer available. I wish I'd gotten some when they were.

I always have to look. Your results are amazing. :'( Now I am depressed as my skills and time available will never afford such a prize paint job. :'(
