I like the front better at big size but it looks a bit "cut up" at actual size. I think back fender looks more cohesive when shrunk down (course this is looking at it on a screen with no colour...)

They all look good. Just follow your instinct.

Check out the front profile pic. They clear it.

True, up until the time that the front wheel is turned. Unless you're saying the entire front assembly turns with the front wheels, then it's okay I guess (though it will kill the aim of the weapons, as one will then point up, the other down, on and kind of a turn).

But it looks good regardless, just have to suspend a bit of belief, that's all. And in a small-scale sci fi miniatures game, that's not hard to do at all.

Work begins on the Athena Battle armor:

Haven't really touched the base models arms yet - and there's still plenty to do - but how do you like the look so far?

*Fun Fact - The Sisterhood Base model actually fits inside!

Hi!

I realize it is battle armor, but to emphasize models female nature, will a "molded" breast place be feasible, or a ponytail sticking out the back would suffice?

I think at this level of armor - feminine features will be difficult to portray without them being "forced" - hell, I got flak for showing them on the lower grade armor...

In any event the torso armor "slants" at an angle and fully encases the model inside - but outside of that, it's style of the armor that will link it to the rest of the sisterhood line.

Unless anyone has some examples to look at of heavily armored women that show off feminine features while not looking silly...

I think at this scale the armor style is what is going to tie it into the range. It would probably look silly if you tried to emfasise the female "gifts". I like the way it looks. It'll be interesting to see how you fesh it out. Keep up the good work.

How about a full-face mask visor? The shape of the glass could suggest femininity. See for example the Power Ranger Pink mask. While the show is slightly silly, the helmet looks fine for "power armour with decoration".

I agree that for the rest of the body, any sensible heavy armour would obscure any trace of gender.

I like this suit and helmet and as you say the styling will tie it in with the rest of the range. What sort of weapons did you have in mind for these?

Bonus points for actually having heavy armour that a human shaped figure would actually fit inside.

There's my colour scheme for this army sorted! Also need some transformable dinosaurs for this range!

It might make more sense from a realistic point of view - but I like the way it creates another "shield" for the rider, as well as protecting the wheel itself from incoming fire. Plus it's just an interesting look.

I can switch it though - if the public outcry demands it I will make it so!

How about instead of an 90° fender a 120° fender?

Is the Athena Battle Armor just armor or is it supposed be super-armor?

Its as heavy as it gets before you move up to "rig" status. Rigs are driven rather than worn.
