Miniatures wise i'm getting there slowly, the Death Korps coming along and then i have to get back to my Red Scorpions and maybe small forces from the other participating chapters. Then i need to revisit the opposing forces of Renegades/PDF and chaos marines plus daemonic support and more titans for everybody. Many of the listed forces are already collected it's just haveing the time to do them. :)

After that i still have to design and build the actual fortress table itself. I have some ideas for this.

Much to do, i need a gap life. :D

So i got some of these flight bases from Hawk Wargames to try. The thing i liked about them was that you can remove the aircraft from the stand for storage and this means that you also will not need a stand for every aircraft in your collection if you don't want to as you only need to base those aircraft in use for a game.

They do three sizes as show in the pics and also a seperate bag of extra widgets. SG's biggest stand shown for size comparison. I think the one on the right is the best option for FW size planes but SG planes may go with the smaller ones.

You glue the widget to the model permanently and just pop it on to the rest off the stand when needed.
