just in case you guys haven't seen it - there is a thread started that has gone a long way in flushing out what the frogs might end up looking like:

Hi!

They look great Deacon!

Question, you ever thought giving the Okami a trooper with jump packs? I think that would be cool. :)

I'm liking what I see but I'd live a different head design since we've seen this on the heavy weapons already. That being said I don't know WHAT that'd be other than helmets. Maybe goggles or visors since u am sure it must suck to get bugs in your eye flying around ::)

another idea for quick distinctive look is to drop the side skirt armor and make them look at little more reliant on speed vs armored suits for defense. Your earlier A vs B design picture would work nicely. Just use the other one for this!

whatever you do though, do NOT change that jump pack!

I like the way the guns are arm mounted, nice flight packs.

ski goggles could work. a beak like hooked and finned resperator could be cool, eagle, 2 fins on each side to drybrush over . or with two side vents like an eagle, with slanted googles to closely resemble eagles, for the Badas sistas look

loving it. could you do a knee up pose? maybe eagle heads for the ehxausts on a sergeant?
steampunkt eagle drones as an escourt would be cool... like my Artificial Owl at the office

Yes I have, and they will get "Neo Ninja" complete with katanas :) There will be a foot and jump trooper version of these guys.

I was surprised by the level of detail that showed up on the Avians - so I'm swinging for the fences. If I get the prints back and the detail gets muddled, I'll simplify.

I was playing with the idea of goggles actually - I'll post a pic in a little while. I'm keeping helmets off on this level of armor just for the look of it.

I think I will drop the thigh armor, thanks.

Thats a cool idea...

There will be an elite close assault version with more elaborate, "angel" style backpacks...

Hi!

That's not a bad idea and I think it would stick out at this scale. It would emphasize the femininity of the model.

Those will be on the younger "scouts".

By the way - any interest for heavy weapon long-range tank busters?

Hi!

I think adding three basic categories, "line troops", assault and long range, to any of your miniature lines should be a good approach to fulfill any potential use anyone may have for them.
