I gather that the "Unarmoured" parts are infact covered in armour, it's just moulded into shape like that (also helps with people complaining bout her 'perkiness' if that is artificially created by plascrete)

I kinda feel like she should have some sort of a thigh pad as added armour, but i'm liking the look so far

It's actually meant to be rather form fitting armor:

Course, I guess it depends on how you paint her!

Then some of those transitions need smoothing. As it is she'd need to actually lift her breasts into the armor. The buttocks are also an unfeasable shape for clothing or armor. It may all wash out at scale, but right now it looks like she's wearing some shin and arm plates and a lot of leather straps to me.

Not that I'm complaining, but it's no powered armor.

I think it could probably do without the boob band, and give it some thigh plates similar to the greaves (which would help give it a sort of "skirt" profile too) and a backpack and she's good to go

OOOhhhhh - yeah I guess one could interpret all those lines as leather straps lol. I'm trying to present bold lines that will read a breaks in plates and edging at 6mm.

I'd start by creating a less form fitting armor and then move on to edges myself. Maybe make the bands less linear too. Of you break them into several segments it might break up the strappy look they have now. The breast plate could have the edges form an inverted w shape, for instance.

Deacon, would it be possible to show a "real size" picture along side the other pictures? I always find it a bit hard to imagine how the details show up from just looking at the big picture.

Thanks for answering my earlier query Deacon and for very politely tolerating my impatience!

With regards to your lady warrior, I reckon a backpack probably would be required to counterbalance her... err... front luggage. :-)

I think I'd prefer to see the chest look more like armour, maybe slightly angular, and the abdomen more corset-y. At the moment when I look at it I just think everything above the chest band could be painted a flesh colour for *ahem* 'epic' cleavage. (I'll get my coat)

The belt that's holding the tabbard could be mistaken for a standard leather belt, might not help with the whole banding = straps confusion.

Then again this will be tiny so I don't know what will show up & what won't.

Looks spot on for me. What are we to say how their people craft their armor :P

This might be more of a scout type? Power armored vixens will be separate minis right? Or is this the "power" armored version?

I need to win a lottery or two because of you Deacon.... or sell my wifes jewellery (evil laughter)

I like the way these are going! Great work!

Al little bit of feedback. You said earlier that you wanted them to wear heavy armor, in your pictures it doesn't look that "heavy". At least not around the torso, but of course it might be quite alright in actual 6mm, I can't tell. The arms and legs are better.

Looks spot on to me. At 6mm i can't see it will look saucy unless you deliberately paint it that way - which might mean she could double up in a evil space elf army... She kinda needs a back pack but given the potential duality might the pack be separate ?

I'm liking it. The "boob strap" is a little weird, but otherwise I'm loving what I see. Form-fitting is necessary because otherwise you're not going to see any difference between men and women (and then why not use one of the innumerable male lines as proxies?)

I wholeheartedly approve of it. It is going to be 6mm, so boldness is needed to provide a castable figure. Otherwise the detail will degrade when it moves to the production moulds.
