More units for the Korps. :)

Today we have a breaching assistance formation in the form of Krieg engineers backed up with some combat bulldozers from my archive collection.

I am calling these ACEV's for Armoured Combat Engineer Vehicles. These old Mk2 gorgons make good looking dozers IMHO so that's what i am useing them for. I removed the gun barrel from the turret as i wanted the turret to represent a drivers cab with armoured glass. And i added a small access ladder in the back and a searchlight on the port side.

I see these as being in common use with guard engineer units especially during siege and trench warfare operations. They are used to help construct field works and breach defensive positions. They can also be used to transport engineer squads into the thick of the fighting where their special skills may be needed. Weapons are just smoke/frag grenade launchers and whatever any passengers are carrying.

Clever idea! You going to count those as Centaurs or are they just fun stuff?
Nice addition of the stairs. What are those made from? At first I expected a zip tie but the close up shows that's not what it is.

Hey jimmy, yes these were done just for fun but they could easily count as centaurs i think. And yes again the ladders are small zip ties. I have used zip ties to add ladders to several models on this thread.
