Looks like:

-MoK
-Reedar
-Stu's Idle
-Maddoctor
-Nat

Thus far...if we can cajole 1 more person into the evening (I've PM'd Jon) then we can make it work properly! EdgarSan is away for now so he's out this month.

Jon is working until late so suspect that will be a 'no' mate.

I'm checking it fits in with things this end - will let you know tomorrow!

hmmm. If I've broken the pairings I'll bring some paint, camera and a notebook down with me and batrep the mega battle. Lets you lot play at speed and lets me pick up more tactical nuances for play.

If the numbers don't work I'm happy to take a back seat. I've had a heavy weekend (Stag Do) and don't exactly have travel far to be here.
Either way the campaign looks interesting, particularly the second one although it may be a squeeze to get both games in (as the first influences the second).

I'll just bring some orks down and will be around from 5/6 ish, perhaps bring something to paint too; we'll see how it goes :-)!

Just taken a look at the campaign again; might be better of as something a couple of mates play over a weekend; upon closer inpsection it's a bit wierd and wild!

I'd be up for playing the cross roads scenario though, perhaps as the aformentioned mega battle at 6k? I'll just bring as many orks as I can and we'll go from there.

Maddoctor; if we fit a Great Gargant into the mix then perhaps you could command that!

Aw :-(! When will we get to see a Jon!?

My mate James is coming down now so that should make 6 of us; maybe we can play a mega battle with 3x2000pt forces; I'm suggesting the cross roads one...will print it out if I have time and should get to the duke about 5.30 to set up.

So how did the epic battle end? As I left the Imperial's right flank was crumbling, forcing the marines to play their hand in a massive air assault into the centre of the converging orks.
On the other side of the board, the ork forces moved towards the city, hammering the buildings and keeping the defenders pinned down. The warhounds were lurking in the bushes, ready to close the gap in turn 2.

Hello all, I have just moved to Chippenham and am looking at getting in some epic games. Are you guys still meeting first Tuesday of the month?

Hey tc,

Yes MoK and Stu usually issue a call to arms each month and meet up with some of the guys in Bristol.
It's a great venue and a welcoming crowd.

I only live down the road from you (Melksham) so if you fancy meeting up for a game please let me know. There's quite a few of us based around Wiltshire now, so you'll also be get plenty of games in without having to travel to Bristol.

Good to have you on board mate.

Cheers
Reedar

That's probably the best reply I could have hoped for, as the next question I was going to ask would have been seeing if there were any players near me!

That'd be great, I've gotta get a playable army up together first (rather than 4 unfinished ones) but when I've got that squared away it'd be great to get a few games in.

Nothing planned as yet that I know of. I do have some other people interested in using the space so please can I have a show of hands as to who'll be able to attend? If the number's low I may postpone it by a week.
