Yep, it's cool. Just teaching myself CAD so it's great to see how it *should* be done...

Way cool mate, I have been slowly creating Traitor Guard force, will be needing some grinding artillery to add to that collection. Will there be a universal tractor of sorts to support this?

Cheers
Aaron

Our fellow board member Scream has chosen "Ground Shudder", which I shall shorten to "Shudder". He recently acquired a new baby, so I figured it would be a good omen for him to name it.

Er, name the miniature, not the baby. Although he probably has some say in that, too.

That sounds slightly sinister!

Most people say "This guy had a baby recently", when in fact, their wife / girlfriend / harem member had the baby. So, I put the twist on it.

The volume of the Shudder is curiously high. I'm going to do a low-resolution print on the company machine to get a better feeling for it.

I'm considering a grim-darkened version of the treads with segmented metal tracks and such. The original M1931 source material shows tracks made of a continuous belt of rubber. I infer that's due to the tracks main function is to increase the footprint, not survive small arms fire.

Some smaller, cheaper US construction equipment also uses continuous belt tracks; Buddha knows I see enough of it here in Dallas.

Good try ! Red Dwarf - "Reverse."

Funnily enough the curvy tracks did look particularly effective as rubber belt tracks now you say ! But in the darkness of the far future there is only cold hard adimantium... :D
