Hi!

You may have noticed I am missing several somethings. For one rivers. Although I have been pointed to JR minis and their rives are quite nice, so I may soon add them.

Another is woods or forest. Quickly frankly every single one I have come across... SUCKS! I'm open to suggestions on this.

Another is street scapes and ruins, so I picked up these made for epic.

Hi!

They seem to have a wide variety that;s pretty modular, but requires work.

Hi!

Forums such as this is all about the group's experience in sharing a hobby that few outside of little niche or circle is appreciated.

Due to my very long absence a great many did not share in the original experience and may have felt left out just because they weren't around in "ye olde days".

I wanted to rectify this. Not with a repetition of what was done before, but something altogether grander in scope that old and new could share.

I hope I created such an experience that you can carry with you for years to come. From this point on EVERYONE is a veteran of having shared with me the long journey of unpacking and witnessing the "primarchload".

My humble thanks for making my reunion with my own collection so pleasurable! :)

Phase 3: THE VAULT OF WONDERS!

Now its time to kick back and enjoy some "primo stuff" from the primarch vault! Enjoy!

This is for my buddy Dwarf Supreme, kicking it old school!!

Thanks P! 8)

I managed to get a hold of at least three of all the MK I Knights, except the crab-like Paladin. I have only two of them. I also managed to get at least 5 each of the MK I Dreads and Robots.

I love seeing AT era minis! 8)

Hi!

In plan on using mine as barons, I use the plastic ones as rank and file. I liked the wardens a lot more (they look like beetles), so I have many more of those than the rest which I may have just one or two.

I turned up a surprising amount of MK1 metal dreads though. I'll probable sprinkle them across the chapters.

Thanks for the show again Primarch! I don't think you showed all the terrain last time, though I may have missed it. Nice to see anyway!

Hi!

True, I only showed the IG, such as they were back then. Things have grown in number since then. ;)

It took me 3 weeks to do all this. Fun, but I'm really tired. ;D

Now I will sit down and do the the lists based on my inventory notes. I'll post at some point numbers and point values. I'm not sure I remember what all this stuff cost. Best not think too deeply on it.... :P

Hi

Thanks again P. Its funny coz I've been going through a similar stage as you apparently did for a few years. Some vocations leave no room for "fantasy land". A nice balance must be made which I've lost lately (too much work, not enough epic). But THIS blog has just made me tip out a bag full of SM1 Salamanders I was building for a while. Around 700 troops. I know for a fact that I have another box of similar troops for a different Salamanders force I did years ago. Time to tidy up a Chapter or two of Heresy Marines ! (Self Therapy)

Really loved your thread man, will follow with anticipation.

Hi!

Precisely the goal of doing this! :)

Let out your "inner epic" and break out those minis and remember that life is much more than our profession.

Work for a living, not live to work. ;)

Glad to enthuse you and hopefully many more!

Hi!

As I analyze the inventory data here are RAW numbers. Note that these are the numbers of what the FINAL list will contain. What I have set aside or will at one point be "cast off" has not yet been quantified. That's a whole other inventory... ;)

Imperial Guard

375 infantry tactical stands
105 heavy weapons stands
90 Assasult IG stands
Over 100 HQ stands
25 commissar stands not including those incorporated to command and platoon leaders
20 ratling stands
30 ogryn stands
10 psyker stands
150 rough riders with command

60 bikes with command
45 IG landspeeders
40 Sentinels

24 rapier guns and crew
24 static artillery guns
15 static Basilisk style guns
24 static rocket (manticore) batteries
18 static AA guns

142 chimeras
over 50 command chimeras
40 chimera variants (all types)

60 whirlwinds
107 Manticore rocket artillery
60 Bombards
124 Basilisks artillery
6 Earthshaker guns with carriage
45 griffon cannons
30 Medusa heavy mortars

33 Salamander tracked vehicles
143 Leman Russ tanks (all types)
36 vanquishers
39 executioners
63 conquerors
42 Thunderer siege tanks
39 tank destroyers

27 stormhammers
23 shadowswords
24 stormblades
6 baneblades

30 FW stormblades
33 FW stormswords
21 FW baenblades

32 predators (all types)
12 hellhounds
32 vindicators (all types)
36 ragnarok tanks

30 thunderbolts
30 marauders
19 FW marauders
15 Valkyries
18 Vultures
18 Lightning strike fighters

12 custodian knights
12 castellan knights
18 errant knights
3 errant barons
20 lancer knights
5 lancer barons
21 paladin knights
4 paladin barons
12 old school knights

28 Gorgon assault vehicles
7 Hellbores
6 Capitol Imperialis
3 Leviathans
15 ordinati (all types)

Total points (net epic values): approximately 140,000 points.

This calculation is only for FULL companies. If I would added the horde of support cards that don't add up to a full company it would be at least another 20k for around 160k.

It does NOT include knights or titans, which I list together under a mechanicum list.

This is the largest army I own and will not be adding anything to it beyond what has not been painted or queued to be included.

I have no clue on the value of this army by itself. It would take someone more intrepid than I to pull that off. ;)

Congratulations on completing this Epic endeavour! The scale of your collection is completely breath-taking, loved every day of updates - but sad to see it's over! All good things and all that I suppose!

Hi!

I increased my photo bucket bandwidth, since the thread has proven popular. :)

All things must end, but there are many things brewing in "primarch land". I have commissioned painters to undertake the massive endeavor which is to paint it all. As the things get painted, I will share them with all of you. :)

I don't need much excuse to take pictures these days. ;)
