Actually, thinking about it. You know what impresses me most about this thread?
It's not (just) the scale of the collection, but the volume of painted stuff. Really inspiring amount of stuff you've managed to paint up primarch. How on earth did you find the time??
::::::::::::::::::::::::
That thought then leads to; most wargamers have more unpainted stuff 'waiting' to be done than painted.
Primarch, does this mean that what you've shown so far is just the tip of the iceberg?!

Hi!
Back in the day I owned a hobby shop. Some time there, once I hit medicine no time at all, but I discovered another "super power" the ability to pay others to do it....

That's what i do now. There are great painters out there whom are more than happy to paint stuff for me, and given the scale they can make good money for their time. it's really the only practical avenue left for me.
I am currently gearing up to repaint all the old stuff and get all the bare metal done.
The amount of bare metal is staggering Reedar. The Eldar for example how so much bare metal, I could probably fill that nice table I used for the IG shots. It is indeed the "tippy-top" of that iceberg...
The main thing is that painters have been hired for the herculean task of painting it ALL. I have allocated the financial reserves that it requires (I may even do a part time job I was offered by the local government to serve as medical director on some public program) to pay for all this.
in short, after 24 years IT WILL ALL GET PAINTED!! More importantly, as of the end of the inventory I have forever closed the acquisition of stock GW epic. I will only consider "custom/ different" models from now on.
Gearing up for the terrain pictures.
