Gentlemen gentlemen, let's be serious. As cool as Space frogs/slanm are, we all know we need Space nuns/Valkyries! High heel, form fitting armored figure 8 Joan of arc amazon warriors. Here is a run down:

Troops
*We got basic armor wearing nun with uzi or flamers on heels
*close combat has robed nuns with chain swords or electic whips

Heavy support
*Space nuns with heavy flamers, sonic weapons, missile launcher shape of a cross
*An organ on trends

Fast support
*Nuns on flying winged horses with laser spears
*Jet pack nuns with handguns

HQ
*Valkyrie with wings like an angel and flaming sword
*headmistress with a electric whip and book

I have a nun-army whose sculpts are so utterly beautiful that i'm afraid to look directly at them, let alone paint them, I dont know if the dude who made them still has any, but yes, they do exist

I have them too, best epic sculptor *ever* and better quality than CAD models. For me and others around for a while nun needs are probably met from one or other of a couple of sources.

But they are not toads! Plus, I would have thought most would have gotten a bit too old for that rather cliched English schoolboy fantasy.

Hi!

I have a vague recollection of this. Who made them?

I think those of us still playing with toy soldiers won't ever be able to claim to be too old for anything ! :D

Must say, I always thought Sister Wendy's take on "nuns with guns" was actually quite mature. Concept completely in keeping with the pseudo-medievalism and even the stilettos and corsets sat well in the gothic theme. Not a saucy cleavage or suspender in sight.

Of course we weren't talking about Sister Wendy's nuns... :whistle

I thought nuns were all pseudo medieval and that gothic leatherism was indeed a schoolboy fantasy, but there you go. I suppose evocative nuns with or without guns or leather attire were not my cup of tea ever, really.

Any idea of when Wave 5 will hit the webstore? I need an army for september 20th, just wondering if OTC (with tanks and transports) would be realistic or if I should start another project.

Hmm, that might just work. We'll designate that plan A.

Plan B might be green and mean. Thanks for the info!

So, if wave five is mid-August can we assume that wave 4 is in the next week or so? I still have wave three to paint, but you can never have too many minis waiting for paint. Actually, I still have some Legion waiting for paint as well. Need to move the Napoleonic minis off the table and get going on them. So little time, so much to do...

regards, Bill

The wave 4 masters are waiting for me at home, so it wont be long - just waiting my approval. I'm on the road for work until Friday - the wife is filling orders until I get back! :P
