I will be useing them as orks as part of a revamped armageddon battlegroup or should that be clangroup. :)

So really it does not matter to me personally one way or the other what they will be named eventually. I'm sure most people who have pledged for these already know what they are going to use them for/as so it only remains to establish an official background and name for the DID rules set.

This could follow the traditional arctype or be completely different if Ben wishes.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

I still think Brutes is the right name, has a harsh, brutal overtones, indicates a sort of vicious thuggery and direct violent approach to problem solving XD

If it is a slang/derogatory name that humans call them then it wouldn't end in a 'z' I think. The aliens probably call themselves something totally different in their own language, maybe it happens to sound a bit like skinners.

Progress is progressive.

The factory needed to work out some potential minor undercut zones this week on the Infantry + IFV's sprue, so we should get that long-delayed quote for the Ultimate sprue early in the new week.

Looks good. How high is that lip from the ejection pins? Is the difference noticable when minis are placed?

I've not got the samples in my hands yet, the factory are still fine tuning the tool apparently.
They sent me that photo late on Friday.

The pits for each model should be slightly over 1mm deep if I recall correctly.
The ejection pins pushing through the cental pit shouldn't affect things if they get the tool aligned correctly.

What's the tool made from, just curious...

also what are those shadow like marks on the top left group of bases on the tool?

As an added bonus, I certainly appreciate the complexities of plastic mini manufacturing.

I'd say Hard Stainless Steel or Aluminium, but if the tool has been made to last (which should be the case) it is most certainly in HSS

Just saw the bomber master on IGG, very nice looking piece. I think it's going to be a heavy model.

More teaser pics please.
