Monoceri would have had better quality than SG's rhinos, but you made those look right purty.

yes, they would have.... I have several I plan on putting to use with my own marines at some point, but pushing through the backlog with Cal and you, and the remaining battletech, and the last couple projects for the skitarii unit shots take priority. however there are some very fine examples of the monoceri's big brother soon to hit the table now that priming went well.

Indeed Monoceri would have been of a much higher standard, given you variety in hatch designs and much cooler door options. Boo that it all went tits up.

Cheers

Very quick evening project. A long time ago I put together a 3d printable torpedo marker for BFG. The goal was to allow for dice to be placed in trays to denote salvo size. I finished up the build for the remaining markers a couple of weeks ago and here they are painted in the WSF material. I lightly filed the flat edges and then coated the marker with a very thin layer of wood glue before priming them.

You can see all of them here (and maybe buy some :)):

Will there be different kinds of every type? For each faction for example? Really like the idea.

That's a very smart approach! And they look extremely good, to boot!

I would love to see them in 20mmX20mm size, with holes for 5mm dice, and maybe available in a mixed pack! :D

If they sell well enough I'd consider different markers for each faction. Right now they are more of a niche thing than mainstream.

I can definitely do mixed packs, and I've already though to do as much with the fighters and bombers, but I haven't really decided on breakdowns. Most of the time you are looking at 8-12 AC on the table and very rarely will it be all of one type.

Unfortunately, I can't do 20mm with 5mm dice. I tried 5mm dice when I was working on the torpedo markers an they are just too fiddley and impractical to use with more than a couple of markers. 10mm dice are the smallest you can easily hold onto and read. Constraints on printing also means that the absolute smallest they can be is 23mm using 10mm dice.

Next update: Blood Ravens Land Raiders. I'm aiming to finish another 10 raiders and 10 stands of scouts this week.
