Sounds like a good idea. Whatever you do, get word up there ASAP! There's very little time left and you need to make the most of it. Doesn't matter if it's not been that long since the last update.

You don't need to post a render right now. Just mentioning that you'll include some would do good !

Basically, the first rule of crowdfunding is to always give backers and potential backers something to aim for. That means having a goal that is quite appealing but that you also are not sure is gonna get reached. Or else people just assumes the project will reach the goal without additional funding.

Rule 2 is that you also need to convince people to fund RIGHT NOW and not wait for others to invest and then get something after the crowdfunding is ended (and let the risks to others). It usually means discounts/free stuff for backers, comparatively to retail pricing (Obviously you need to work it out so that you don't loose money). I know it's pre-ordering logic rather than funding logic, but that's how it actually works. After all, backers/funders/investors are taking more risks than later purchasers. On kickstarter, it is also quite common to have "early bird" discounts on some level of pledge (get the same stuff as in the 100£ Pledge, but at 90£ for the n first ones to get it !).

Good advice for next time Athmos.

I'm sculpting the two leaders for 10k this eve, based on some artwork someone's doing for us.

I doubt we'll hit 10k,soo if we don't they'll be available to buy at a later date.

In that particular case, pay just 1x £3. Unless you live in Oz, where the extra will be needed.

Things have accelerated on this since i looked last night. What a great show of support this campaign has/is receiving.
£9000+ is looking plausable now.

Sure, and the first "rule" was the one I thought relevant at the moment.

I guess I felt stupid mentioning a rule 1 and not stating a second one :D

Aye, I thought £8k would be a superb achievement, but it's homing in on £9k at a rate of knots!

Good work E&C :)

I don't expect us to actually get to £10k. That'd be silly. But it's nice to have a final target to fall short of. :-)

Yep. 10K. Who would have thought. I like the pose on the big guy. Looks very fantasy at the moment, though. Would be nice with a more industrial look.

Actually, if you change that misleading main pic to something appetizing I think 10 K could be done!
