Welcome Magnus.

That's the type of spreadsheet that I think that we were thinking of. Thanks for posting it. Now all we need is a volunteer to make some more..... ;).

I've gone ahead and begun updating it to NetEpic. I've done the Space Marines so far, will do more soon. Most things are the same, but there are interesting differences. I may have found a couple of typos as well, mostly not mentioning that Heavy Flamers should 'Ignore Cover' on a couple of the Predator variants. I think there was something else, but I've forgotten already.

I'm making progress on this, but not as quickly as I'd hoped. I have the four "Adeptus ..." done, aside from going through the errata, which I'm leaving for the end.

I was going to wait on posting about my campaign until I was done with this, but I'm going to go ahead and do that. Perhaps doing so will motivate me to work on this more...

Great work done on this Magnus, your document is a resource that I plan to use all the time from now on!

PM sent about the campaign.

There's no rush. Any progress is good progress. We all do this during our free time, and other commitments do have a habit of getting in the way.

I had a go at doing my own with the Squat Gold book. Only took a couple of hours.
Formatted the sheets so the formations all fit on one sheet of A4 and the unit data fits across two.

What do you guys think?

Matt

Apologies Mattman, I had missed your post. Great work, thanks for doing up this table. All of the spreadsheets are an excellent resource that can be tailored to only show the units being used for each battle, saving a lot of time and rumaging through rules.
Thanks!

I am working on something that will do that automatically. You select the company, special and support cards you are using from drop down boxes on an army creator sheet and it should automatically fill in a stat sheet with just the units that are present in those formations. Few kinks to work out, but hopefully it should come together.

Wow, I almost completely forgot about this. Apologies. The file is still not done as yet, but there is a lot more in it now. Everything in this file (except for Squats) is updated to NetEpic Gold, including most of the errata I could find.

I use OpenOffice, so converting this to xls gives the warning that some formatting may not carry over properly. I don't recall using any fancy formatting, but then I don't use Excel, so I don't know what it can or cannot do.

This is excellent Magnus, thanks!

If Dogtrooper can get his program to work, it'll just be a case of porting your lists over and the project is complete! [Crosses fingers]

Just to be more clear as to what is not up to date yet.

Squat is in, but they are still SM2/TL/Warlords stats.
Dark Eldar are named, but no stats.
Eldar Exodites are not present.
No Slann are in at all, but they are probably going to be reworked extensively soon anyway.

Hi!

I use open office too, so i can try this out.

We can update the files once the revision starts. I have my internet at full tilt now, so I should be on it tomorrow.

My thanks to Magnus for this! We'll make sure this work gets the maximum potential drawn from it! :)
