Cheers Alf O'Mega – that's a great visualisation. The smaller one on the left looks much better to me.[/quote]
I reckon so too, the left one looks good, the one of the right looks oversized IMO.

I have to agree, having seen them side by side the smaller one looks nicer despite my initial reaction.

I sincerely hope this doesn't screw up Deacon's day...

Whatever the decision, I think they both look fine. Just waiting for the Grud beast myself ;D . Likely to want at least 2 of each version (if the giant and one eyed versions will be joining the transport version?). Along with giant tunnellers and Land Locomotives if they are in the pipeline ;)

Well, though I wont buy these since this particular genre of sci-fi aesthetic does not appeal to me (though you have done a swell job designing them!), I must say I strongly suggest the reasonable 30mm variant on the grounds of the scale precedent for nice looking limos that you might design at a later stage that I definitely WILL buy.

+1 for 30mm.

Not saying i wouldn't buy the 40mm, but i would wait to see it in the metal first.

I imagine its a significant reduction in volume/production cost too - presumably giving scope for lower unit cost and/or higher margin. Have you got a per unit cost in mind Deacon?

I'm guessing the savings would take some time to recoup the cost of matter printing it twice?

(+2 for 30mm, the picture makes it even clearer)

How did you make those chewy sweets? They look great! Coat 'em in sugar and you'll have a mass-market product!

That's good news about prints being the cheap bit - I had a horrible feeling we might be about to ruin Deacon's day.

Out of interest E&C how would a 40mm transport sit alongside say, your black prince tanks?

Black Prince has a hull length of 37mm, width (including sponsons) of 25mm, height (not including turret) 12mm.

IMO ... being a M113 former Mech Grunt ... the middle model is a better size ... the GW plastic Rhino really is too small ... in reality you'd be hard pressed to get more than 5 SMs in there ... :whistle Just FYI in case you didn't know the Rhino looks a lot like an M113 or UK FV 432 ... ;D
