maybe a close assault oriented one that also has katanas or other ninja type weaponry? Neo-Ninjas - it would be hard to top that lol.

I was thinking you could add some directional vents at the side of main thrust vent if you used them and they'd have a little more element of realism...

And as for jetpackers...just make a separate shinobi type with larger, bulkier jet packs. Armed with a brace of pistols/grenades.

Now it's too much like a backpack imo.. The previous middle version or the originals are the best

Check out what came in the mail today!

These kits feel "solid" in resin - can't wait to have metal copies in hand:

Now, here's my issue - and I need your help making up my mind -
I've been modeling all of my kits to a "true" scale - meaning - if the model is meant to hold 10 men, I want it to actually look like it can carry ten fighting men. But compared to other 6mm lines, in this case EPIC, they look a bit large:

(that square base is 40x40mm)

But EPIC is completely out of scale with itself. Should I care about compatibility with other lines, or should I stick to my "true scale" guns?

True scale, definitely.

I think you should make them the size we are used to, I definitely wouldn't buy any that big.

It's not that bad and it's better now than it was.

I love truescale titans and aircraft (and use them exclusively in all my armies), but the convention from other designers here has been that truescale is making the (previously distinctly smaller) titans and aircraft the same scale as the vehicles and other units and 1/5 from what we're used to with larger models.

True, 40k vehicle models are a bit too small to realistically carry the numbers they do and there's a further truescale/art-scale school in 40k (not what people here generally mean when we talk about as truescale) where marines and all vehicles are made bigger, but I'd rather overlook and avoid that. Altering the scale of your vehicles here compared to all other vehicles we have would be unnecessarily messing with existing convention and consistency and would be a really bad idea IMO. If we were re-doing ALL existing vehicles for ALL races then bigger vehicles might considered, but that isn't going to happen.

Some might want to mix your models with existing models they have painted and this would put them off.

Conversely though I would like to see your Grud superheavies truescale though as, like the titans, previous models for these were obviously too small.
