Im(very)ho - if the metals arent helping the goal don't confuse the thing further with cyber-shadows (and i speak as one who is super keen on them.) They can always be another campaign/release later.

I think you need clarity of goals for the sprue that is set out up to the end of the month (be ambitious.) i can't be the only one with an (admittedly small) pot of money who is holding off pledging awaiting the chance of the "next cool thing." ??

Btw - completely understand that you have been caught on the hop by unexpected popularity.

Yup. I will only add them to the campaign if I can get enough hands in the air to pledge at least £1500. Anything less and they'll only suck profit out of the plastic sprue campaign.

are you including the super heavy weapon conveyor in that number ? I imagine it is much harder to make a return on it given the size of the model; of course I am biased since I'm only interested in the infantry concerning the Cyber shadows (at the moment anyway), but if you were to only produce the infantry, at what point would the pledges be beneficial for the plastics ?

Yes. Cut £400 off if we're just talking about the three infantry sets.

OK, so it would cut a bit less than a third. Thanks for the info !

Right now my further pledging would be minimal - may be able to free up £15-20ish at the end of the month - Peanuts i'm afraid. If cybers were available it'd be on them. In longer term i'd very much like to see them made ( esp mech and cyborgs) but i can wait.

As i see it : Sad face for the Cybers right now balanced by happy face if a kick ass plastic sprue gets more peeps playing down near me ! :D

Regarding pledges - did you manage to sort out multiple postage rates? When i have bought online in the past, i know the incentive to save on postage has increased my order size exponentially... Might it help get some big orders in ?

postage rates?

Just figured I'd refund any over-payments later on.
As it is the £2 added on top doesn't actually pay for the real postage cost - it's a bit of a crowdfunder discount really.
Long term once they're on the website the postage rate will probably go up a little (real postage cost is more like £3 rather than £2 per box - of course that does scale up, so two sets can still fit in a single larger box for £3.50, etc.).

that's cool. I wonder why the heat loss on the left is greater?

Seems to me the ideal order would be:

Alien Pose2
Human Pose2
Alien Heavy
Human Heavy

Alien Leader
Human Leader
Gobbler

Leaders are the least important unreleased figure to be plastic, they're the least numerous unit, so their inclusion in plastic is not particularly important. Honestly, after the break, I don't think any of those need to be plastic at all, better to have them in metal as Add-Ons. I know i have in my bits box a bazillion duplicates of the characters that were packaged in with various basic sets, because I simply do not need very many of them. Keeping them metal also allows for:
Better and multiple poses for the Aliens (including, one hopes, some sort of super heavy armoured option, perhaps as an entirely seperate sprue) More options for Humans (such as political officer)
and better detail for all. Plastic Leaders seems like something that is better off left out, with the moneys being spent to produce cheaper and more plentiful metal add-ons (or more basic poses. I know i'd rather see three Alien poses than two and a boss, atleast on the sprue that is likely to be acquired in bulk)

This. And mirror the poses too, for further variety.

Just chipped in for a couple of the lovely beast packs. Any more will be nearer the end though.
