Thats very cool!
any chance of a circular viewport instead of the slats?
also, it seems odd for the gun to be on the opposite hand to the regular troops

but yes, very like!

I can't do the circular view port - but I can switch the gun over. ;)

I like the idea of the faceplate being the entire torso, giving it a more hunched feel. I'm seeing these guys as unmanned remote controlled suits sent into hazardous environments

The reason i suggested a circular viewport was to give it the feel of a single large eyeball/sensor, maybe with the three-slit logo along the upper edge. I reckon it'd look boss. Sunken in a bit, it'd tie into the smaller drones and infantry who all have circular sensors

something like

if you'll forgive my crude sketches

Like the idea of a head = torso remote-operated suit. Fits OTC well, gets a little bit away from the [REDACTED] look.

As for a round eye, can always fill in the slits with a coat of too-thick paint, then freehand a round gem over the spot. Maybe make a matte black circle first to suggest it is recessed.

Have to say, far prefer the look on the support rig compared to the normal rigs. I never been a fan of the anime mecha look, whereas these look far more hard science fiction. May have to get an army of OTC it seems.

Original looks better - it looks like he's got a belt buckle on his face! I think you'd need to at least round off the chin to give this version a chance.

Looks awesome. The pose on the right looks like the static "base" pose, is that intended?

It is - I wanted a mix of static and dynamic poses.
