Hi all,

I am lucky enough to own this original artwork by Fangorn:



It was used back in the day as the cover art for the Eldar Legion and Ork Horde boxes.

It struck me this evening that it would be cool to mount it alongside the boxes it was used on. Unfortunately I've long since discarded my original boxes, but I wondered if anyone had empty boxes spare they'd be happy to pass on to me in the UK?

I can send you one of the empty Eldar boxes. Bit tatty though.
Think its the first release (outer sleeve with picture on front and garb/photos on back).

Very Nice !! I have the original boxes with some of my Eldar and Ork Infantry in them ... I liked the old box art ... I have a number of the boxes from all the Epic releases ... with Epic or other 6mm Sci-fi in them !

It's actually a huge piece of artwork (67x28cm) and the level of detail is amazing. It also looks like it was painted with Citadel paints!

Just had a look at the box I have and think the one I have is from the third edition of Epic (Epic 40k) and therefore has a different picture on the front from your painting. This box has blue/black Eldar guardians, a Farseer along with a red Warp Spider in the back. So, your quest continues for those elusive boxes.

So, can anyone else help Axiom?

I'll keep a look out as stuff passes through the store.
