Ridiculously overpowered type. It is currently 3.8cm long.

perhaps a platform along the left of the gun, with ammo boxes where the shell feed can drag out off,
running under a rough seat or platform for the slave gunner/gunners. with a big nasty gun sight cross hair held out in a round mount? giving it all a sense of scale

will the AA upgrade part be avaliable seperately one day?

any ogre sized slaves on the radar?

Loving it

What I thought, but it seemed to be just a little bit too big to be a normal cannon. I'm probably damaged from looking at too many GW guns.

That cannon is Awesome!. How would it look mounted on the bed of the "truck"?

It looks like this on the back of the flatbed.

And it looks like this on an infantry base.

Think it looked good on the big transporter. OK on the flatbead and not good at all with the infantry. Looks to much like an oversized smg. But got me thinkin. The normal alien transporter gun that is on the sprue would look good as an alien heavy infantry wepon if it is put on a undercarrige that makes it look towable.

definitely could do with a different ammo hopper and maybe a more secure looking base structure.
maybe a blast shield too. that'd be pretty sweet

Giving borks (or whatever these aliens are called) the possibility of shooting off the barrels of their own guns by mistake, whilst an amusing idea, may not be a sound strategy given the nature of borks.

Massive improvement on the gun - looking appropriately out of scale ! - still think the mounting is a bit spindley. Two girders / hydraulic, one each side of the gun maybe?

Big improvement already. The platform (cool!) and ammo feed give it a much better sense of scale. Could a base (and ladder!) work? The socket (that plugs into the plastic base) could be centralised under a larger 'foot', right? Or would that prevent it fitting on the Beast?

Other than that, you could try adding some whirly bits, widgets and doobries.

By the way guys, I need a name for the tech-loving robe-wearing army.

'CyberShadows' not good enough for you? ;)

Triggermen?
Wartisans?
Kill-machinists?
Murdermechs?

Better, doesn't look like an SMG now. Though agreed that physics of it look a bit impossible for such big shells, if it just fed more directly into the breech without that big loop into the air it would look more feasible I think. Also for some reason I think it better going into the side of the barrel somehow...

This is what I was trying to describe earlier, excuse the poor picture:

Rotary magazines are perfectly possible. Maybe not as popular as unlikely-looking exposed chains of shells though?

Chains of shells feeding into a rotary magazine? Everyone's a winner!
