Thank you all :-).

Stu: yeah, I'll fill you in on the details next tuesday; you could even swing by mine one evening and I could walk you through it.

Ooh! Elsmore! A walk through guide can be found HERE!

I realise now that actually it's not particulalrly in depth so I'd be more than happy to post up something in writing talking people through how the Super Heavies below were done. There's quite a few stages that could do with proper explaining!

Dude, these are gorgeous. Really really good work mate.

Even my missus was impressed!

Excellent work as always MoK :) It still irks me that the UK based Forumware wasn't cleaned up better from print artefacts before casting. The Aquatic mammal-ware is much nicer in that respect. But you definitely made these models look very nice! :)

More interested in the exact size and placements of magnets you used! [hint hint hint] :D

Wow! Simply fantastic, in every possible way, from bases, to painting, to weathering, to magnets... Your painting blog keeps being a great source of inspiration. I still find the term zappy a bit derogative when applied to the Shadowsword, but that's just the commissar standing on my right shoulder.

Jimmy, these were, i believe 2mmx0.8mm magnets on the above...

WMN; yeah, I completely agree with you as regards the 'cleaning' of these, sadly no longer available, miniatures it's a bit of a pain especially on some of the early resin items.

MEDIUM WALKING ROBOT!

'Standard(ish) Configuration)'

'Assault Transport Configuration'

Note ironic use of metal Reaver body assault carrier, it wouldn't be GrimDark without the chevrons either...

Hope people like it!

Massive hat's of to Vaiish here whom provided some good feedback earlier on and whose own take on this model made me want to push myself a bit further with it.
Also got to admit that the tops of the legs scheme was stolen off of his MWR!

Feedback appreciated,

These are gorgeous MoK, in particular I like the detailing/scroll work you've done.

What's next???

Cheers
