Mate,

As usual, outstanding work, very much looking forward to seeing the work on Preatorian and I think wee need a progressive army shot of your Admech.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks! Praetorian is coming along quite nicely. The metals on the torso, head and shoulders are complete now and I should have the undercoat for the blue carapace armor done tomorrow which will get me in position to hopefully finish the torso and head by the end of the week. Then it's just the weapons, shoulders and final details before Praetorian is done :)

Admech will probably be a bit before I do another army shot. I've got a bunch of rapiers to get painted up in here before I do that since it'll be mostly the end of the units I need for the PDF shots.

Wow - i didn't think BT minis could look so good !

Its such a shame that the Madcat and Makari (and variants) are such good designs but most of the rest of the range just don't work for me.

thanks! I wouldn't classify the last batch as all that great, but you are right about the models. I think there are enough good looking models for 4 IS lances and 2 Clan Stars but that's a bout it. Pity too since the art has some nice designs but they never transition to metal all that skillfully.

The models I like out of them are all mostly unseen too.

It has been a crazy month but I'm still alive. There are quite a few things going on behind the scenes, first of which is the Reaver. Right now the torso, shoulders, and rocket launcher are all ready for freehand and gold and I've finished the titan's head. Since that would be a rather odd post, I'll leave it for now until the torso is done.

Before everything went nuts, a particular water mammal sent up a couple of models for me to paint up. I've only had time to get one finished up and the other is still in pieces, but I'd like to present the Cherubdys Ordinatus. It's a very well designed model that was made frustrating by my zap-a-gap which seems past it's shelf life (it took nearly four hours for the glue to set which made the whole assembly more than a little frustrating).

I hope you enjoy it! Next up Blood Ravens. :)

Very cool mate, very cool indeed, said mammal must be very proud.

Wow, that is some silly smooth painting. Love the model, too.

Thanks guys, the model was pretty fun to paint up, though I'm almost thinking that in a strange twist of events, my photos came out with TOO much contrast instead of too little!

That looks really nice, great job Vaaish and Todd!

How wide is the model? I don't have that good an idea of scale. I'm considering using one as a Blitz objective for my Titan Legion (with a few modifications to make it look more overtly 40k-ish).
