Ha! That might work maybe use some plastic rod for upper legs and arms, have you seen anyone do this? Got any examples?

Alternatively there are some fan made proxies from france which are very nice..... Have a look at Rastamann's plog

rough cut done. still tweaking posing, need to fill back and fix right foot (it was pretty battered when i got it)

pretty easy - about 10 min work.

EDIT: however, that one the last full marine I had, so I'd either have to buy a new box or invest directly in France. I'd recommend the latter.

Nice! My modeling skills aren't up to the job. So I think I will probably go for the French option. Thanks for the tips people.

I had some nice ones sculpted and matter printed but they were accidentally destroyed by the mouldmakers. That was costly.
