Robots get a re-make - perhaps could make a good base for an Epic Reaver or Warlord conversion?

Interestingly it looks like they aren't fielded on their own but come with a cyborg battlefield controllor adept, a Mechanicum Magos Dominus. Considering the absolute ban on AI in the background (due to huge wars in previous eras when AIs humanity created rebelled and nearly wiped them out, leading to the fear and supestition toward tech in the time) I guess this makes senes:

They will be gradually adding Ad-Mech units over time to build up the armie as allies up to a full lit. They will be doing a HH book called 'Mars' and there'll be a new Warlord Titan model, but this won't be till book 7+ 2015 at the earliest.

OT for Ad-Mech but there's also the long mentioned 'missing link' SM tank, halfway between a Lamd Raider and a Predator (don't like the look myself) and a new giant drop pod, presumably to deploy those 20 strong HH era squads.

I was planning to nab some HH figures before all this recent ass-battery. Lovely stuff but I don't even think I'd accept it as a gift now. Hopefully there's some good fluff you can glean from this.

I'm interested out of curiousity and the FW books are great reads, but I would never buy anything from them now, just might be interested in smaller versions, if any appear.

Also found this:

a rapid deployment space marine mini fortress/patrol base. Its suppose to represent something that would have been deployed via the air and that would open up into a base. he wants it to be finished in the same style as the necron piece that can have 4 put together but have a landing pad in the middle. He was looking at possibility of brass etch doors as well but that would be unlikely as they only have one guy doing terrain so you can imagine the demands put on him at the moment.

Yeah I hear you. I've got a full set of FW books on the shelf and Mechanicum was something that would have got me back into 28mm.

Indeed, I've got a full set of FW and BL books on my mobile phone, which is nice to have, though not the most ideal for reading on.

Depends on the phone and the app; galaxy S3 and adium work fine for me and it's how I read all my books now.

It is nice being able to read while out and about. Mine's a Nokia 808, so its got an excellent 41MP camera plus high quality microphone and speakers. It's a bit slower and lower resolution than other new phones, but the trade off is well worth it.

Interesting pics. I quite like that new 'in-between' tank, at least i would in an RTS, not sure about it in 40k, but it looks 'cool' (but then i'm a sucker for twin cannon scifi turrets and autocannons) :D

*cough* 30k. If it's the tank I think it is its been forgotten by 40k, with just hints of its existence in ancient blueprints for the Land Raider and Predator (if memory serves some tech priests were searching for it but got branded heretics and wiped out by more orthodox AM).

They seem to be going for a bit of a different look for the 30k only vehicles.

*curls up into a faintly glowing ball of embarrassment* anyway, I like the look, despite it being a bit tall. Have to admit i'm slowly coming around to all this HH business, having been ambivalent about it for a couple of years.
