This will bring in more customers, and will help with the above mentioned priority - selling more units. Once cost per unit goes down, I can sell to a distributor without taking losses.

In the meantime, I recommend you overthrow you respective governments in the name of Onslaught and reform the tax codes :)

I don't think you need to be in a rush there.
The already mentioned company Mantic Games is a great example, and has been in an similar position Onslaught is at the moment if i may say so, producing figures which are unofficially intended to be used with GW game systems. Either filling gaps in GW's range or providing cost-competitive alternatives.
Better to establish yourself as a 'quality miniature producer' and then try yourself on a fully supported game system.

Imho, the best exposure is still being seen on the tables of the 'GW community' due to the simple fact that it is the largest one out there.
Of course, positive features on larger online platforms/portals appears crucial as well. Especially now that GW is shutting down SG for good. In fact, that in itself can be the start of an editorial piece already ;)
'As GW is shutting down his SG production, small independent producer like Onslaught Miniature are ready to fill the void.'

Please feel free to call BS ^_^

So... You're volunteering to write the OpEd, yes? :)

I think we need to help get the word out!

I'm surprised I haven't seen any Onslaught posts on http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/

They cover releases from all size ranges... maybe we need to drop them a line? :)

I'm going to get a hold of them as soon as the OTC stuff hits the stores - I wanted two armies represented first.

And here's a shot with the engines flipped - they are separate parts, so you can angle them however you wish:

hey deacon,

great stuff that you´re doing!
is there any chance of an european distribution of your products?
the postage and the customs duties (19% in germany) are really steep...

Maybe Deacon could understate the actual value of the minis so you'll pay way less VAT and duty. When ever I buy second hand guitars from the States I get the people sending to mark the value way down (usually from about £1000 to around £100). It drops the tax and duty paid from about £300 to about £30 instead. We pay even more than you in Germany too - %20 Tax and then an aditional duty of about 10-12% on top of that depending what the item is.

Edit: Ignore me. I didn't realise, Deacon that this is all for an above board business attempting to get a distributer, not some bloke making these in his garage for some extra cash.

Only a matter of time before I get an OTC force now that the tanks are out. And an Avian force.

Really excited to see what you've done for Exodus Wars too! Won't be doing another order from them until Marcovian command & heavy weapons come out. But then . . .
