I wouldn't want narrower nose wings. In fact, I was happy with the original wider ones.

Sure the wider nose doesn't look as much like a larger, similar model I've seen, but I wish that model looked more like this one.

You know, I like both. However if you do go with the later version I'd flatten the turret a bit. I do understand that is totally a stand-in though :D

Coming on well, but I prefer the wider look also.

at the moment, the only thing i'm uncertain about is the shape of the scoops for the thrusters. in my preference, the front should have a hood that makes the upper part of the front extend outwards, rather than inwards as it currently is

that said, unless you do something that ruins it for me, expect a large avian and OTC type moneygiving in the "as soon as they're available" future

I kinda like the support drone turret, but it also occurs to me that using just the sensor bundle on the side of the turret as the whole turret plug would make it a quite good little APC/IFV too. Add in a few other turrets, and that will be awesome (some sort of missile rack, a large radar dish, and another couple of gun options would be my votes)

There's going to be LOTS of options based on this chassis ;)

I agree with most of you - Needs to go "low rider".

Now it's starting to look like a bad-mamma-jamma :)

Image

- Re-widened the front end. It's now as wide as the back end.
- Lifted the under-carriage.
- Removed the turret stand-in for now - was making it look too tall - I'll address this again soon.
- Added some exaggerated "plate lines" - should show up well at 6mm.
- Added space under nose for air intake grill.
- Flipped VTOL engines, and added secondary intakes on top
- Added small stabilizer wings to sides of engines

Overall, I'm digging the profile this thing presents.

Thoughts?

Lots of opinions, too! I liked the engine pods the original way.

Whatever you do with the turrets, I hope you keep them visually tied to the drones. It gives your vehicles some character of their own.

really like the latest version, looks pretty brutal and not weak and flimsy like other hover tanks, I'd certainly be interested in some, even as they are now!

Generally looking great! :-);

I'd go for smaller plate recesses, the common painting methods of dry brushing and washes can still pick out fine recesses and over-exaggerated fine detail like that is a pet hate of mine in Epic models.
