Since I failed miserably to get any work done on TOEG13 project DKOK. I thought I had better post up some work I have been doing. I have long been collecting my second chaos army. As the title says I am doing a Skulltakers Warband from the World Eaters Legion. I have based my list of the Red Corsairs List and have begun the process of assembly now as the final pieces make their way to Oz.

For a basing theme to contrast the reds and golds, I have chosen to use a ruined cityscape. I figure the dark base would work well to highlight the colours. That and the whole theme of desolation works well for World Eaters. So far I have based up some of the nastier things within the army. I have also constructed Objective Alpha, one of four for the army.

Ok, onto the pictures, first up are the Greater Brass Scorpions:

Ok, next up is Objective Alpha. It is a World Eaters Land Raider that has been disabled by a very large anti tank mine. Now being secured by three Chaos Chosen. On to the pics.

Next up, Blood Slaughterers, first formation of five. There are two formations in the army and I will take pics of the second formation later on. Of note in this formation are a couple of cool creations JimmyXII worked on. First is a Guardsmen with banner being torn in half and the second is a Guard bunker and its occupant. Cheers Jimmy for you efforts.

Yeah somehow I missed those (too much otterforge I guess :) )

I love those bases and can't wait to see them painted up in all their glory!

I heard they were OOP for now as well :( still, the big advantage of not having any is that you don't have to try and glue them together ;)

In todays update, we have Objective B, another formation of Blood Slaughterers, and some Dreadnaughts. The objective and dreads are WIP with more to come. So onto the pics, first up is Objective Bravo. Which is a chaos alter in the ruins, with a Space Marine Scout being sacrificed.
