Maybe we should have a TacComms meetup at a chosen time at the Timeline or Exodus Wars stands? Have a chance to put faces to names?

always up for a meet. Always in a spot-able T-shirt too - this year its the HobbyBrush Logo again as I'm there just for fun :)

I always seem to end up setting a random time and place for such things but I'm not sure if Iain's on duty for DRM this year? If so might be best to figure it around whatever break time he might get?

That puts the Ball in your Court Mr Forum Boss sir ;)

Oh and I was just about to say I'll take up the first challenger to Timeline 300, but its only a trade stand this year :(

As such, I'd vote to meet at EW as they have gaming as well as trade options - I'm sure we'll all got to the various trade stands too (DRM, TMG, EW etc etc), but we'll be blocking storefront if we meet as a huddle there. More than happy to be over-ruled though :)

I'd also suggest EW as the gaming table gives them more space. Don't forget to come say hi at the TMG stand tho!

I really should get a TacWarNet t-shirt made up! Maybe a hat would be better.....

We generally have a meet-up each year, but even those who dont manage to find us then usually announce themselves at the DRM or EW stands and getting pointed at someone semi-friendly from there. I assume that TMG will do the same. Is Ninjabread going to be there again this year?

I am not on duty for DRM this year, and I will be arriving a little later (limited interest in the door mini, more interest in something called sleep... apparently). Also, this is likely to be my last Salute!! Would be good to even get a group photo with as many forumites as we can.

I would suggest a meet-up at the EW game table around 1pm. If the stars allign, that might even coincide with Paul and my EW grudge match. As a general rule, if you see a 6'2" redhead hanging around the EW or DRM stands, odds are its me!

Sounds good, we'll also get a few pics of the game in progress and the eventual victor!

Oh and just as a note, we intend to squeeze a small gaming/demo space into our trade stand area for t300, if anyone wants to give it a go. :-)

With my luck, I would just fail a load of dangerous terrain tests and by the time you turned up you would be half way to winning!

So, thanks to .. yes, this is a memory test after 3 hours sleep and then 16 hour day out... bear with me... and please forgive where real or Forum Names escape me!! ....

It says a lot for the TacComs community, not only the number of stands representing forum members and their products but that such a large portion of a great day for me was meeting ad catching up with you lot in person - thank you all!

Just to echo Paul/Tuffskull here, one of the highlights for me every year is wandering around and seeing just how much of a presence TacCmd members have at Salute. For still a pretty niche within a niche forum, its great to see that we are slowly taking over! Its always nice to just stand around and chat with people at this event.

Thanks all.

It does take me a year to recover from one day, though....
