Looking interesting. I wonder how sturdy the liquid GS joints will be though. I had some problems using it to join two halves of infantry. The parts easily came apart after the GS dried.

Yeah, its not a great glue substitute, the joints here are all either magnets or superglue, the liquid gs is just for decor.

Update time, still needs more work on the base and some lightning of course but its mostly done.

I had help creating the hellstorm/gatler so expect to see a couple of them in my Black Legion weapon swap.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Mate,

Excellent work, great conversion and a great paint job. Now you need to move down under so our titans can have at it.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks for the comment Rastamann, truth be told I'm coming round to the idea of this textured paint that I'm seeing some people using, I just don't want to change style mid-army, the painted sand/grass combo is just something I've been doing with my armies for years now. Painting sand is such a PITA too, not sure whether I'll be able to find a scorched brown equivalent that I'll like when my dwindling stocks run dry.

Thanks for the kind comments folks! Glad people like the God Machines!

Well in this dark time I needed cheering up so I turned to grandfather Nurgle for solace.

Some of these might have seen already but with the transports & support formation completed they make a nice pairing to fulfill this months ToEG points requirement.

I thought about adding some sort of cotton wool haze to the drones to make them look like they're giving off some nastiness as the fly by but couldn't figure out how to make it look good...

This post is doubly heretical as those rhino models were once part of my sisters of battle army, replacements made them surplus to requirement and ripe for corruption ;D :spin

If anyone has some thoughts or criticisms they'd be very welcome!

They are very nice!

As to the cotton wall, Ive seen some good clouds made from static grass, sprayed black and painted up. Perhaps that might be worth experimenting with? (not on a mini that is, in case it looks awful!)

Are those scurvy marines sadly oop proxies or are they available from a store? I dont think I have seen them before, but they would fit in nicely with my currently abandoned plaque marines!

Cheers dude, they're of the same stock as my earlier infantry only with some re-worked helmets and liquid gs where appropriate. I'd shown them in my 6mm thread a while back.

Will give those tips a try too!
