For the Avian mercs - a master of the kennels with a hound in a sitting position (rather than a running position, like the packmaster unit presumably is) would be a nice touch for the chef's retinue. Kind of emphasise that this is a unit that's probably sitting back and commanding the force rather than being in the thick of it.

Sure you've got something planned for the shamans already, but if it were 4 dancing shaman and a totem pole/sacred relic, you could mount them on a square base and have them dancing around it. The magic effect coming from them performing some mystic ritual, rather than being wizards or psychics like other forces might have.

Some awesome ideas here.

I like em too - the totem pole might be odd though...If the stand is mobile, people would wonder how they are carrying it around - or should it be a "coolness over reality" thing?

Yeah because when I paint my giant magic wielding alien birds, realism is my first concern ;)

Point taken :) I guess if people didn't want it, they could just not use it.

Another update - got the Kirin command rigs posed, and revised the shield generators. Just one more rig to go! (Though I may be doing an extra large version in the near future).

It's a good point, though with 6mm games like Epic and the like I imagine that there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff we don't see - so Epic's march move has infantry moving even quicker than the fastest armoured vehicles do at combat speed, it's not so much a case of them running really fast but that if the formation is dedicated to moving those sort of distances, they bring up their non-combat transport vehicles (or beasts of burden) which get them from point A to point B and then retreat back to a safe distance.

We've wondered a couple of times about using 6mm army trucks as "march" order markers for the IG.
