re: Scouts - possibly, but I'd be concerned they'd hold far too much terrain with the scout ability. I think it could be (and should be, perhaps) tried though to see how it fairs in the hands of a master scout player :) I can foresee long strings of scouts interrupting enemy movement (maybe choking the table top though...) which in context with an ambush list is not an altogether bad idea but would need a lot of testing to make sure it's not broken. Of course, they could always start as a formation of 5 units to meet it half way <shrug>

Dont know if anyone else is but I've been playing this with 6 scouts in a formation and so far feels pretty good. Yes as Dobbsy points out they are very capable of fouling up the enemy requiring them to engage and flush them out. However this felt "right" and allowed me some ability to channel the flow of the battle where I needed it to go. In return I've removed (just didn't take) the heavier elements of the guard allies to balance.

-I'm going to advocate we bump the scouts up to 6 (I'm fine with 5 though) at 225

-Move armor to support formations at max 2 per detachment

-Limit IG to only ->

Core (0 or 1 IG formations can be taken per 2 Raptor formations)
Infantry Company
1 Imperial Guard Commander unit and 6 Imperial Guard Infantry units
125 points

Mechanised Infantry Company
1 Imperial Guard Commander unit, 6 Imperial Guard Infantry units plus
4 Chimeras (1 for Commander)
200 points

-Armored units should get dozer blades ala fists

-Limit titans to warhounds. WH are single
