Thanks guys! This is a relatively small update but it does mark the completion of everything below the waist of the titan. I'll be setting this project aside for a bit until I can finish up 7 Epic Crusader robots and my Battletech Wolf star. The next stage with Praetorian will be the torso and head. That will leave only the weapons and shoulders after a second break for my last Inner Sphere lance.

...Dear God.

Part of me wants to be as talented as you. The rest of me is horrified by the effort involved, but wants it anyway.

Mate,

You continue to astound us with your exceptional work. You are a gifted young man, enjoy the break between painting jobs and I am looking forward to seeing your robots and mechs. Have the weapons arrived yet?

Cheers
Aaron

I keep coming back and admiring the painting on these legs you know. I'm seriously going to have to up my game for my titans.

It's a shame you copied the knee iconography from the one on the other site so exactly though; it's obviously not the same titan with all the extra detailing and those iconographies are meant to be the personal heraldry of the particular titan and uniquely different for each one.

Some superb freehand there Vaaish, I'd be extremely happy if I ever paint half that well.

I guess that model is of the unacquirable sort?

The Princeps took it to the Titanomotive detailer's right after that photo :P

Thanks guys!

Glyn, I thought long and hard about the iconography. I'd already painted it on one of the earlier titans, but since we'd decided on this one being praetorian, and with the extra work going into it I really couldn't skip using the iconography from the ia book for praetorian.

Managed to work my way through the entire thread and all I have to say is WOW. Amazing stuff Vaaish.
If I ever get to 1% of how well you paint (and convert/model) I will be a happy bunny.

Matt

Your gold painting is very nice! I find gold to be rather hard to do. Would you mind posting how you do yours?

Cheers
