Just a couple of my thoughts on this. Firstly, my goal would be to use FB as a 'shop window'. I see little sense in replicating content or splitting discussions between a new outlet. There is no point having a thread start in both places simultaneously, for example. I would see the FB site as - for example - announcements on the Tale of Epic Gamers and an update/highlight once a month, EpiComp winners and announcements, site updates, breaking news about suppliments and releases from other manufacturers, and that kind of thing. (I see the Twitter account used for similar purposes.) This would mean that it wouldnt need a lot of care and attention to keep it going but would draw people in and show off some of the cool stuff going on here to a wider audience.
Not sure how serious you are, Apoc, about opting out.

But, given the above, I hope that you can see that it wouldnt necessarily be a reposting of people opinions or comments, out of context or anything like that. When there is a great thread - usually with pictures, lets be honest, for the FB crowd - then they could simply be mirrored with a link to the thread, but the intention would always be to get people to visit here, not move content out.
Also, this would be for the site, not just these boards, and so would include more general content than Epic, although that would obviously be a core, as it is here. For this reason, I believe that it would make sense to have a dedicated page, but I would be happy to work with the EA FB page, and 'friend them' (thats right.... isnt it?

). In an ideal world, it wouldnt make any difference to this site or these boards, but would function as a more visible draw for more casual fans, people who play Epic as well as a variety of other games and just want highlights without the in depth coverage that we have here.
