Is anyone going from or through Bristol who could give me a lift for a petrol contribution? If so how much space do you have as I suspect there may be a few other people interested?

I'd imagine some of the Brizzle lot will be along to respond shortly, but you might find it easier to get to Westbury from Bristol by train - its about 40 mins from Temple Meads to Westbury IIRC.

Thanks Reedar, I will definitely be using that as a 'Plan B'.

No probs. It's worth me adding I'm 90% likely to be there, and am happy to collect you/others from the station and ferry you to Triple Helix.

Failing that, it's about a 20min walk, or suggest coordinating with others due to arrive by train and grabbing a cab - should be v cheap as it's only just over a mile.

I need to get hold of some Bristol peeps to help me collect and ferry all our scenery for the day: I don't know exactly who's going yet otherwise I may have to ferry stuff a few days before and use event money to pay someone for petrol.

Stu; you'd be welcome to a lift if I can arrane one otherwise I'll be seeing you on the train though I'll be going dead early and cycling!

Does that include the various 'hangers-on' mentioned by various people, especially the 'Bristol crowd'?

Hangers on are going to make it up a fair bit!

I need 15 people to meet the cost of the event really; but with less time to organise and promote than usual I understand that we might be a bit quieter this year...Ben Edgar (winner 3 years in a row!) can't make it this time so someone else has definitely got a shot at winning for once!

Ben and I did pick up all the scenery from Cut and Thrust today so that's all sorted and looking good :-)

Also found a good 1st Prize today; no longer available community models are up for grabs; something worth fighting over!
