Would now be a good time to mention that I have 10-15 of the larger versions of these sprues in a box somewhere....? I picked up a load, as well as the double Tyranid ones, when GW were selling them through mail order at £1.50 each!

I'm thinking of trying to pick up a Tyranid army at some point this year. I'm not in the position to do anything about it just now, but I'm looking to get clued up as to what the going rate is for an army. Do people think this lot is value for money?

Seems about average price I see these go for. Actually impressed with the Buy-it-now sans the Unobtanium additive (usually it's something completely retarded like $250 as opposed to just mildly slow and dimwitted that $70 is

)

Yes! I bit the bullet and got one in a buy it now for £40. My most ridiculous buy ever, and I never intend to make another one like that! It'll need to be repainted to fit in with my IG force. Will post pics once it is painted (along with the 3 Stormhammers I managed to pick up). I'm in the midst of my painting Chaos at the moment though, don't want to get sidetracked!

My fave auction at the moment is the Epic 40K (3rd edition) Eldar Phantom titan. Not a rare model, widely disdained in favour of the older model (which is why GW brought it back for the 4th edition lineup). For some reason this is now supposed to be worth £50.

Excellent! I have always wanted to buy a generic Imperial thing, as long as it was 1991, without seeing any picture at all in both mint condition AND painted (surely, mint condition implies unpainted at the very least?), especially if it is possible to get lost in the post with no chance of recovery! And, £35 too. Bargain!

At £1.50 shipping, you can guarantee that they are not big at all.
